Initial consultation with client – analysis of scope and potential and possible planning consents if required.
Discussion of ideas and creating a brief.
Measured survey visit and preparation of measured survey drawings.
Preparation of concept sketches, and possible alternative solutions, if required.
Preparation of design proposal drawings for the planning application.
Preparation of planning application documents and drawings (and Listed building consent if applicable).
Monitoring the Planning Application through the assessment stages and liaison with the planning officer.
The appointment and liaison with appropriate structural engineers and any other consultants which may be required.
Preparation of the building regulations application, drawings and specifications, including incorporation of the structural information within the drawings; specific instructions to contractor.
Liaison with the client, builder and building inspector when required during the building operation.
